Colourised old photo's
« on: October 12, 2017, 05:44:29 PM »

I found this photo on the net the other day, I know that it has been coloured in in recent time. But I was impressed in the way it breathed new life into what would have been a run of the mil B/W print. Though I believe the people who do these prints now spend along time researching colours and applying them on photoshop, believe there is a new book out soon with colourised prints.

Great picture of Dreadnaught and a Dromedary Class paddle tug.

The colourising techniques certainly do bring those old photos to life.

Very much improved on the bad old days of colourised photos.

Hi,
I was taught to colour photographs using a brush and thin layers of oil paints.
These days I use Photoshop.
