Servo switching micro switch
« on: October 14, 2017, 12:54:58 pm »

The question I have is will a servo be damaged if it is nearly always one way.
I am using a Tamco transmitter and receiver. It has two switches on the top and I have used all the proportional channels but would like to use the switches to operate two lights on the mast.
When connected up, the servo goes to the left.
When the switch is operated the servo goes to the right which will operate a micro switch and turn the light on the mast on.
As it will nearly always to the left can the servo be damaged.

Thanks in anticipation

What Dave said, adding that as long as, having operated its switch, it isn't trying to go further.
