Dennis Nixon, Attleborough. Modelling timbers
« on: November 06, 2017, 02:08:21 pm »

Does anyone out there have contact details - phone, email website etc., - for Dennis Nixon or his successor (if still in business)

Failing this can anyone recommend an alternative supplier offering the same quality, range and sizes of timbers as Dennis.

Thanks anticipation of a response.

Sorry guys - Dennis and Twigfolly retired over a year ago.
He supplied our timbers for our kits and sent us a letter stating that there would be no more Twigfolly and thanking us for our business.

Not that I am aware of Niel.

We have managed to source a new trade supplier - and we are looking to offer such to the modelling community from next year along with a whole host of other goodies.  Watch this space!

Jotika have a good range Mahogany, Walnut, Pear, Lime, Maple, Beech etc including exotic Tanganyika?,
and their flexible beech strip is amazing - you can tie a knot with it, he's at Droitwich area.

Or another good supplier is SLEC in Norfolk who cut all their own stock etc in huge quantities,
more geared up for the model aircraft world, but having said that, they have recently taken over
the Vintage Model Boat co. and now produce 1960's Aerokits model boat kits range.
