Tiller Linkage
« on: November 11, 2017, 02:37:33 pm »

Hello all, I am just collecting materials and components before i being my HMS Active build. Currently researching best method of rudder assembly and particularly the tiller as once built, access is unlikely unless 1 modify the aft deck. I need a grub screw solution so that i know it is on, but what do more experienced modellers think of quick links? I can solder the arm onto the quick link and run back to the servo. Alternatively I have used a ball and cup on my Joffre which has been successful but i can access the assembly anyway so was not overly concerned. I is twin prop so planning on a couple of 90 degree tilller arms. Many thanks in anticipation for a robust solution?
