Train and boat layout
« on: January 09, 2018, 01:30:19 pm »

Hello!
Mikromodell on here showed some fantastic videos from Miniature Wonderland where they had the nice privilege of sailing their amazing small boats in a very realistic scenery. While browsing through his videos I stumbled upon this, no connection to Mikromodell as far as I know but worth a look. Includes a launch of a warship among other things.

Very good.

The warship being towed looks to be either Scharnhorst or Gneisenau.

Excellent video.  If multi-discipline shows were like this I would be keen to visit.

Lovely work, one day I hope to visit the Dortmund show one day which has some amazing displays like this. Some truly stunning sailing too going through the raised railway bridge. :-))

Hi all, I think I saw this exhibit at Dortmund maybe 10 years ago.  It is a real crowd puller.  I had my German speaking son with me and we talked to the operators.  I seem to remember they said they get together there for this exhibit as they were not able to do it anywhere else as they come from a wide area.
.Not many exhibits make the time pass so quickly.  Probably the best in the show.
regards Roy
