A few pictures of the two Fairmount Alpine's first ever sail - They were both built at the same time at opposite ends of the UK.  There's 6 years of work in these two boats  :o

David48's Fairmount Alpine with mine  :-)

We both had a little issue - mine was my transmitter failed to boot up but did eventually.  This fault has now been traced to a faulty SD card and David had to move his ballast around a little but in the end it all went very well.

Superb day all round  :-))

:-)) Another very busy day with lots of very good models to see. I could not stay for the full day but a very enjoyable time nevertheless, sadly I failed to convince one of your members to sell me his Rembertiturm kit. Stan you know who!
Thank you to all who turned out and helped.
Cheers  Jim W %) %)

HI david48 First of all we must thank you for making such a long trip to be with us. I will pass on your comments to the Goole club also. The event does need a lot of hard work but it is all worth it  and I hope I can continue for many more years promoting our hobby through our club events  and other shows away from our home water.

Was a superb day, to all the clubs and members who came from afar it was nice to see you, had some great laughs.

The day went without a hitch, apart from my shorts  ;D , some superb boats on the water and plenty of fun.

I must of course thank Stan, he gave me a prize (not one that had won and not been claimed) in the raffle to shut me up for kicking off  %% then...yes...I won two prizes :D . Of course I wasn't really have a strop...just trying to wind Stan up :} , he will get his own back  <*<

HI Niel  hope to have some more pictures later this week. The July  open day always seems to attract clubs and traders  It was a very tiring day for me  up at 5am  getting back home around 6 30 pm and of course it was very hot.
