No name just a number, H44.

155.000 tons, 500 metres long. main armaments 4 twin turrets of 20 inch calibre :o :o Anyone heard of it? Just watching a program on National Geographic discussing the Reichmarine talking about Hitlers planned ships after the Bismarck and Tirpitz.

One at least was laid down, there is a picture somewhere of the bottom plates but that was as far as it got I think. I believe that they were to be powered by diesel engines or a combination of steam turbines and diesel.
