The Portsmouth Model Boat Display Team are in the process of moving to yet another clubhouse. Hopefully our stay at our new home will be longer than the last one! We are moving to the Explosion Museum in Gosport. We are taking over one of the old buildings and turning it into a combined showroom/workshop/clubhouse, we even have our own bit of warer! It is tidal but it is ours!


To this end we are holding our first Come Meet the Team weekend on the 6th and 7th of May from about 10:00 onwards. Bank holiday Monday is also the Museums Family Day so there will also be stalls, traditional games etc going on (£2 per person entey) while the Sunday will be the Team getting ready for the Monday (plus tea drinking) probably the better day for those wishing not to brave the crowds!


We will be holding further ‘Meet the Team’ events on throughout the year

Oh I forgot to add, there is no need to pay to get into the Museum to see us. Just like the on site cafe we are outside the main Museum. Just walk past the main building entrance towards the camber dock. When there turn left and we are in the last building. On the bank holiday monday there is a £2 fee as they are having a Mayday fate there.
