Hi all
About 3 years ago I purchased Model Slipways Al khubar, tug boat. I found this kit difficult and basically made a dogs dinner of it. i think the main problem is I was expecting everything to fit perfectly and I did go at it like a bull in a china shop. Subsequently this partly constructed kit got put in the attic and forgotten about, well not entirely, I have since tried to rectify my mistakes, again using the touch of a cab horse, after which, again back to the attic. Fast forward to the present and after reading T33cno Portgarth build, it's back down from the attic, this time I will be asking for help and advice from the kind folk on this forum. first question I cut the slots for the deck drainage, or should I say hacked. I need to restart this, is it possible for me to refill these holes and start again. One idea, after reading Portgarth build, he lines the inside of the hull with plasticard, would it be possible to do this and then fill the gaps with P38 or some other suitable material, thus giving me after a lot of work a blank canvas to start the process from the beginning. Can I also add I am new to Boats/Ships and do not understand a lot of the lingo that goes with maritime, so bear with me if I do not understand at times.
Thank you
Carl
