Some help needed on pipe work
« on: May 21, 2018, 12:02:27 am »

Hello all, I have been looking to buy a steam model for awhile now but not had much look at getting what I like so I have decided to build my own a Vic Smeed River Queen. I have managed to get a MSM boiler, MSM Clyde twin cylinder engine and condenser but I seem to be missing a couple of pipes.  I have no idea where to start looking for these pipes as I have no idea of the size of connections on the boiler or motor, first pipe missing is from the boiler to the engine I have the connections at each end for this but not the pipe the second is from the engine to the condenser there is a threaded outlet on the engine but this time no connections or pipe.  If anyone could give me a pointer in the right direction I would appreciate it.

I just like to say I have not done anything with steam so its all new I can google suppliers but if I don't know what I need to buy then they are not much use.
Thanks in Advance.

Hi KLZ, a picture paints a thousand words.
If you can post a couple of pictures it would really help you to get more, and more focused, replies. Who knows, someone may even be able to fabricate one for you.
