llyn parden lake n wales
« on: April 15, 2018, 07:48:48 pm »

hi I have just found this on another site hope the owner sees this here

Hi, I have just registered here to try and re-unite a very beautiful yacht we recovered from the bottom of Llyn Padarn North Wales yesterday, its over 5ft high with its sails up, very heavy lead keel, full of electronics, there are pictures of it on "Facebook  Dorothea Quarry" page (That's our usual dive site) its not been sunk that long as in quite good condition, Im sure someone will recognise it right away ..... Best regards Diver Mike

Hi Stav, well said. Those diving guys rescued my Parat when she got caught on that unbuoyed rowing dinghy mooring rope. They wouldn’t take a penny so I gave £50 to the Air Ambulance.

OK  I've been in touch with the owner and he will take it from there.  This is the second time its been sunk and found !!

The first time a team of police divers, training in the lake found it, but not in such good condition that time.

Brought back to life again it was on its first outing when it sank again - not too far out from the bank but too deep for the owner to recover.

Lucky guy getting it back. I wish it had been my Northsider tug but thats way out in the middle of the lake where its about 100 feet deep.

A (not so) small price to pay for sailing in such a wonderful location.
I still envy you lot up in Llanberis.
