Well sir, we are our own worst critics... yes? So, don't be so hard on yourself. I'm 73 and have been battling cancer for 5 yrs now and still I have been given the grace to continue with the hobby I so dearly love. I have become convinced that these upscale kit manuf. engineers try to take the detail to the max as a challenge (I bet they can't do this). So, I just take it as a challenge and give it my best shot. Some times I make it, sometimes I can't do it and I just move on. Looks to me like you have most of it on there.. when painted (if you do), one will never know what has been left off (except the rivet counters). I would like to comment that I think you weathering technique is stellar..... very nice and real looking. Do you do a dry brush with a thin wash? Keep it up. You have a fine looking model. Best regards, Dennis (Yorktown, Ranger and a few others)
