New design and build Hydro

Fancied designing and building 1 of these for awhile now and finally got round to it ,started out just few sketches to final drawings and design through to the build
47 3/4" Long x 23 1/2" wide designed to run exhaust inside hull not only to keep streamline looks but comply with bmprs rules

Started filling , sanding and final shaping
1st coat of patterncoat primer on the canopy

 :-)) Fabulous workmanship. Do you work with GRP as a profession or is it a skill you have learned in addition to being a boat designer/joiner/engineer?

Thanks im self taught with the GRP and then over time got to know a good a guy who is now a really good friend he advised to try some different things to improve the quality of my work further
Its just a hobby for me but enjoy  it and enjoy the challenges of designing, building and molding something new  :-)) :-))

Nice work as always there Daz good to see your still at it , we're a dying breed us GRP boat builders  O0 .Im still plodding along,recently started making my own graphics for the boats ,still learning  but its going quite well so if you need anything let me know .

Great build. Batman would love the design.  It harks back to the days of tethered hydroplanes. Look forward to the sea trails.

Lovely job, no connection but have you seen the promotional video that Sotheby's made when selling the Ferrari Arno X1 hydro a few years ago? I don't have a link but well worth Googling, the boat was bought by Ferrari for their museum and the video shows her at speed on one of the Italian Lakes.

Iv been wanting to build this for awhile now kept doing little sketches and doodling
