I was recently offered the chance to purchase from a deceased estate this model of the paddler Bilsdale. The engine and boiler were imported in to New Zealand in 1994 and it has been fitted to this beautifully built boat. It is fitted with Graupner wheels which MHB supplied as part of the package deal. I have had it on the water briefly after fitting modern radio gear and it went extremely well - I thought it was going to get up on the plane! I need to sort out the reversing linkage to suit the servo movement when coupled to the 2.4G radio but apart from this it seems to be in great shape. I found an old post (2005) from Eddy about an engine and boiler and it seems that there were very few of these made so I better hang on to this one until it comes up in my estate auction!
