That makes perfect sense having a mini build board for complex structures. I've seen fellow Mayhemers do similar when constructing railing arrangements, but never thought about doing it for other big things.

Amen to that Danielle. There are no tell tale joins between the struts and the roof and the curves flow into the roof with no discernible dinks or steps!

god, this is beautiful...………….I just love proper woodworking in miniature on model boats...….it just brings them to life...……...you can almost hear the creaking of the timbers...….simply beautiful work.

Neil, Brian is a member of our club so I get to see these beautiful models "in the flesh" so to speak, and they look even better than the photos, and perform flawlessly as well. Each model is of museum quality.

they certainly look so, peter...…….the symmetry of the woodwork and the construction just makes me very envious...…...and then to put all those joints together at one time to bring it to life is nothing but exquisite. :-))

Hi there, and thank you for kind words, these are the last set of photos . 1 . I meant to put this shot up with the last lot. 2 & 3 . Down at the boat club at Ballina prior to testing her on the water. 4,5,6,7 & 8 . Gave her a good run around , pleased with her performance, she took 1.9 Kg of ballast, very stable sat up straight doing sharp turns etc  so very pleased  :-)) .
