1/8th scale Miss Budweiser- brushless powered

(1/2) > >>

EJL:
Thought this one may be of interest. I scratch built this from Roger Newton plans(USA). I scratch built the dummy engine using photos Roger sent me of the full size boat. The brushless motor sits under/inside the dummy engine. Sadly Roger has passed away, he was a big help to me in getting the model accurate because he was the curator of the museum where the real boat is based. Its a very big model but very light. Graphics by David Leftley graphics. He can produce just about anything we need including very accurate scale instruments.

KitS:
Cor, an Allison V-1710 engine! That really looks the business, as does the rest of the boat.  :-))

Tombsy:

Very nice!, I have a similar boat that I race built from Newton's plans. It's the Maverick with an 11cc nitro motor. I took pictures of your boat at the Hydroplane museum :)

Hi
The American ones use IC motors  with a RPM of 12,500 and 3.1 HP.
So what is the maximum size you can place under that beautiful motor ??
What a beautiful boat, top marks .
