what is the best thing to use to fill an old rudder hole in the bottom of the boat ?
Bought old wooden speed boat and moving the rudder to a new location ...

chas:
A piece of dowel, sand to close fit and coat with araldite. Insert it, wait to dry, sand and paint.
Or, a quick but slightly untidy method, a bolt, 2 washers, and a nut. Put in with some silicon sealant, keeping the sealant away from anywhere you want to paint.

Hi it's John V i always glue a small bit of ply on inside to cover hole and use a body filler on out side cheers John V
