Clockwork motor
« on: September 10, 2018, 08:23:52 pm »

Can some kind soul identify the clockwork motor below please. The grid it is photographed on is 1cm. squares. I'm assuming that it is from a boat as the output is horizontal and typical of a boat motor.

Not sure about a boat.......is that a 3/16" square drive windup stub in the base?....if the frame feet were horizontally mounted, the main output shaft were vertically orientated :o

So could it be for a windup tinplate Round-  Bout or a Windmill.....or such rotary toy?
