What battery?

I am currently building Caldercraft’s Milford Star. I have a CEM 900 motor and an Mtronics Viper 25 speed controller. Can anyone advise me which battery would be best for it?

A 6 volt lead acid will give you enough power and provide some 'working' ballast.
