. . .are you mad  !  Do you want to start another 50 posts about the correct shade of blue <*< ..... {-)   Maybe the team that rebuilt the wrecked K7 might be worth contacting for plans or advice on where to get same.  There have been kits 1/8th and 1/24th .

Thanks Stav, I think I`ve got an unmade 1/20th static kit in the loft. Time for the annual expedition :((   PS, the excellent picture on post 51 is the rebuilt K7 at Loch  Fad , Dunoon this year.

I think Arrow5's assessment of K7 is spot on and that the Spirit of Australia is a far better design, I think a wind tunnel test of K7 design should have been carried out. K7 however is a historic boat and a memorial.

Spirit of Australia is 'just' a world record holder, but K7 is probably the most iconic boat ever built :-) .

Neil.....hows's ya nee? %) ...anyway here is what it says

Spirit of Australia is 'just' a world record holder, but K7 is probably the most iconic boat ever builtilt .

So even though hailing from the sunny shores of OZ, I tend to agree with Imagewerx, however would omit the word 'just' and add the word 'Jet' before boat

I have no idea how that text became shrunk like that as it showed up proper size when I posted it :o .

Edit...................Okkkkkkaaaayyyy....it's back again full size.

Maybe I should have put it into the 'iconic jet boat' category.Ask any random adult (most kids now a days don't know what planet they're on)to name two boats and I bet they'd say Titanic first and then Bluebird second.
And then a cunning plan started to take shape.[sarcasm]Would I be able to get a jet drive working in a model of the Titanic?[/sarcasm].
