Morning people,

Here is your last chance this year to tackle the obstacles at Balne Moor.
On Sunday 30th September we will be hosting the North Sea Winches Challenge which is a competition for teams of two tuggers steering a tanker through the harbours. Don't worry too much about "challenge" we do not take it too seriously.

As always everyone is welcome to come along and have a go.
There will also be tugs to lend if you do not have one.

There will also be a scale sailing course if you prefer.

The entry fee is £1.00 per tug and £1.50 for scale boats.
If you just want to free sail, you can at the usual fee of £2 per boat.

As usual the event will start at about 10.30.

Hot sandwiches, tea and coffee and cakes will be available.

Morning all,

Is anyone coming to the tug towing event at Balne Moor on Sunday?

Do I need to bake a cake? Lemon drizzle plus either carrot cake or a coffee cake?

Let me know so I can get the ingredients when I go shopping for the bacon.

Sorry, Taranis, but there were more requests for carrot cake than coffee - look on the bright side, a slice of that may count towards one of your five a day!

We had a great day out today,(especially the sandwiches and cake ) thanks to all the club members

All the harbours and fixtures in the pond have now been removed for cleaning and winter storage.
It really looks big when it's empty

Another enjoyable day , thanks to all the people who run the club, including the catering team. Looking forward to more of the same in 2019.
