Not cheap at the moment, but I expect that if it gets picked up by a big distributor the price could drop a lot, quickly.
My hands are usually too dirty to use something like that.

Looks very much like the product called Polymorph, a low melting point polymer for hand working. Polymorph has been around for several years.

The "bio-degradable" attribute implies that it is OK for short term items.  I suppose it depends on how fast it degrades.
