My thanks to Jules64 for the photographs and Martin for posting them.
Thanks also to Guy for remembering everybody behind the scenes, these include my wife, daughter, best friends Tim And Sylvia who have no other interest in the model boating scene but travel each year from Derby to Alfold Surrey to help, the local Guides who do the food, the Sea Cadets who man the gate and car parking, also those that turn up early on Friday morning to help set up and stay late on Sunday to clear up again.
You all make the show such a success.

Many thanks offshore1987 for posting all these wonderful photographs, as the event organiser I miss so much with all the running around trying to keep things running smoothly. Some of the models in the pictures you have just posted are new to me.
There should be about another 300 photo's being sent to Martin from John Bass who has covered the show for me for a few years now.

Great photos - amazing cross-section of boats. Amount raised for Charity - Congratulations! Must have been a little arm twisting to raise that amount?

No arm twisting required, regular traders support O0 for which I am very greatful, great bring and buy which did have a few good things donated, so we kept 100% of the money O0 or 10% of other sales up to a maximum of £10, camping fees from exhibitors, gate money, profits from BBQ etc. 100% of money made at the show goes to charity.
I am now thinking about raising money to put on next years show, if I raise enough the show goes ahead, if I don't that's the end of the show. Simple maths.

A great show once again! Fantastic weather, fantastic environment, fantastic boats - just a fantastic weekend altogether!
Make sure you all come again next year, and bring more people! Without you guys, sitting in the control caravan would be real boring!
Congratulations to everyone for helping to raise the money and thanks to Alan for spending the time and putting in the effort to organise it again! We all really appreciate it!

I'd also like to add, Micah loved his 1st show and will be bringing his own boat to the show next year - we start them young in this family!
