Just a repeat of a tip from Bryan Young. When choosing adhesives, think laterally sometimes and consider using double sided tape, it can often give a very neat and permanent job where conventional adhesives are difficult or messy to use.Colin
I stopped posting to this topic as I suggested it as hints and tips that would be related to model building. Quite clearly a lot of what was posted under Seasprays topic that was merged with mine were not model related and could come under the general heading of 'humour' which is why I have not posted since that date. So as the topic has become confused and obfuscated - especially to those that want model building tips, I'll confine my hints and tips to my own build threads.
I suppose this has been done before, but I've just tried it , I mix a bit of paint in my epoxy glue so when I am fixing my deck fittings I do not get a glue mark. Anyway it works for me . The paint I use is Humbrol enamel.David
