Fenland Marine Model Group is based at Wood Green Animal Shelter, near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, UK.
We build & sail, Scale, Semi Scale & Stand Off class marine models, powered by Steam, Wind, & Electric motors.
We do not allow internal combustion engines to be used on the lake due to noise & water pollution.
We have an active membership sailing fortnightly on Sundays & exhibit our craft at local Steam Engine Rallies during the summer.

Bob, you metion the Haddenham steam rally, is this Haddenham, Bucks? Will it have a lake or pool? I have not heard mention of this event and most of my family live in Buckinghamshire.

The Haddenham Steam Rally we attend is in Cambridgeshire near Ely, this year will be our 13th year exhibiting model boats.
The lake we use is an old brick pit (once used for excavating clay for the local brick industry) which we share with Cambridge Subaqua Club over the weekend of the rally.

Tomorrow is a sailing day, we should be there around 08.30-09.00 ish !

If we have inclement weather we tend to gavitate towards the resturant for coffee etc.

Yes I'm a member of PAMBC. However, I live in Huntingdon not 3 miles from Wood Green and an alternative/additional venue would be welcome. As it happens I can't sail tomorrow as I'm preparing boats for the Dortmund show next week. I will make a note in my diary for your next sailing day.
