Any members from Felixstow/Ipswich area
« on: April 16, 2008, 09:01:27 pm »

Sorry to put this up again but I have the chance of over 120 Boating magazines for sale in Felixstow.

As they would be quite heavy to post, I was hoping a member coming to the Wickstead Bash might collect them for me. I would, of course reimburse you for the trouble. (handsomely)   and I might let you drive Red Pelican.   8)

These are Model Boats and Marine Modelling International going back to 1980's and the chance is too good to miss. I was considering driving there myself but it's 390 miles and would exceed the value of the books.

Hope you can help

Sounds lovely Dave. I'll ring you about the details.

There are a bucket full of magazines for sale, from 1980 right up to the present. I have a full collection starting about 1998 and thought I might go for the older ones as boats don't really change that much over the years. Besides, I could do with something to read in the garden if the sun should ever come out again.  {-)

While your there, you might find a load to interest you as well.

Be in touch
