The Bismarck had three propellers, each with a diameter of 4.70m. The port and middle propellers rotated counter clockwise and the starboard propeller clockwise. I wonder how that would work with a mixer on my Bismarck, or would it make no difference at all.

sinjon,
The link is to my Prinz Eugen hull in the water, same set up but with an ACTion P94 speed controller/mixer.
She is extremely light so any reaction would be exagerated, but there isnt any.

Thanks Bob

Funnily enough I got a P94 from Dave yesterday, at the moment my Bismarck props all revolve the same way - only just found out the
clockwise/anticlockwise arrangement - should I change?

Why not just try it and see.
With a 3 prop set up the centre prop should do most of the steering as acting directly on the rudder.
If they are expensive props might be worth changing.
Are you running 3 x Speed controllers?

Hello Bob

Yes I am running the Action P94 dual, and a separate ESC (Action Condor)
I am pretty useless at the electrics so I ask Dave what I need, rather than tell him what I want. The bonus is that you get a complete package plus fabulous full colour diagrams that even I can understand, and in the process begin to learn. I don't know how it works, but I sure can put it all together!
We all say what a great guy/business he is, but his drawings are pure magic to the amateur (me) - a bit like painting by numbers.
