Servo conundrum!!
« on: July 20, 2006, 02:48:24 pm »

I am just puzzeling over this;

Could one splice two servos together and run them from the same reciever plug?  Iam sure I have seen a Y lead to join two together, but cannot think where!
Thanks  ;)

Yes you can.   Try any reputable model shop.   Peter M

You can also get round this problem by using a small piece of "strip-board"
(the kind used in electonics available for Maplins,etc).

Run the original lead direct to the strip-board and insert the Vero pins in line, these will take
 most servo plugs as they have the same 0.1in spacing.

Insert the second line of pins in the adjacent holes, check you can actually place/remove servo plugs and solder up if ok.

This tip may prove useful if the "Y-leads" are not long enough.
