I would build a golf course. with a few more than 18 holes.
People would pay me to hit a ball around yard with a stick.
On one set of holes, I would have a huge pond built.
Every month, I would close those greens, and host a model boat event from
the back side of the club house. The rest of the month, people would
pay me to hit a ball around the yard with a little stick.

Funny you should say that.....
Quite often I sit with my Father-in-Law who has terminal cancer. One of his continuing joys is watching recordings of the golf classics - I'm watching them with him thinking' "Damn, I'd love to sail that water feature"... :)
May your numbers come up soon Umi so I can fulfil that dream.
What do I want?
That money can buy? Nothing really, I've got somewhere to live, a loving wife, a nice car, my cats and more 'toys' than I can play with all at once.
The things I want money can't buy...
Good health, pain relief for my Father-in-Law, a cure for him would be nice too.
A fine day at the lake, stand on a mountain top and look out across the world.
Sail a boat you built yourself - "I made that!"
There's loads more!
In my time working on the Post the most miserable people I ever met where those with pots of money.
A few thoughts to ponder....
