Hi!

What is important for us is that the visual is great. For the size I'd say maximum 1meter. Is there a way we can see some pictures? We are taking pictures of great human inventions, and the submarine is one of them, we don't have any historical criteria..

laurie, take a quick look at our club website www.blackparkmodelboatclub.co.uk
look under gallery and then under discovery channel filming,
 - we were the model subs group featured on discovery channels supermodels II programme, -of the 30 or so models present we managed to  include everything from Radio controlled fish through 2nd world war military subs, to research  submersibles and even prent day typhoon submarines.

there are contact details also via the website- i am sure if you contact the chairman then he will be able to put you in touch with the relveant sub owner !

alternatively take a trip up to our club waters on sunday morning during a sailing session 9am - midday ish ( we back onto pinewood studios near slough berkshire) there may be subs there on the water but chances are there will be sub skippers there maybe sailing  some of their other models.
