hi guys, great site and great models. I want to build my first steam launch and I like the look of the river queen. As this is just the hull and plans, do you think that this is a step to far for a beginner? Any help and advice would be great.

Vic Smeed's plans were first published in Model Maker magazine in the 1950s for the River Queen. They were republished in the 1980s along with another smaller design called the River Princess. They were both for wood construction and the River Queen is still listed on the Model Boats website.
