I was always lead to believe that Dicky lived in London Zoo by these photographs - as I have definitely seen these photographs before.   ::) ::) ::)

Yes it certainly is Gary they are affectionately know as the black plague.They now are rampant in most inland waterways due to the lack of fish in the sea.The only trouble is that fishery owners are not allowed to kill them.The damage they cause is humongous and can quite easily cost a fisherey owner thousands

Yes it is as Stavros says. We only have the one, though we do have a heron. Our lake is at Setley in the New Forest and is teeming with fish as fishing is not allowed.

We have had a Commerant at our lake in West Sussex, amazing to watch it dive, under for ages and comes up a great distance from the dive. Our lake also has no fishing.
