I recently acquired one of those budget 'Tomcat's recently available from Howes models, it went ok but lacked that certain sparkle.
It apears to have a standard '540' mounted inside, which I planned to replace with 'stock' motor I had laying around, it appears to be mounted on a plastic tray, but despite removing the two screws that appear to secure this, as well as backing off on the two grub screws that attach the motor to the shaft, I still cant persuade it free.
Anyone any ideas, or has anyone else done such a modification to this little jetski thing????
