Brief detail or our open days for September 5-6-7th 2008
There seems to be a rumor that the open days are for DEAN MARINE kit builders only,
this is not correct, all model boaters are welcome!
We hope to again see many of our products on display, and again meet some of our regular customers from home
and abroad. The open days are open to any modeller of any craft that wishes to come, all are welcome to promote
the hobby to members of the public, and to pass on their knowledge and love of the hobby.
We will be inviting a limited number of other traders as space permits to be part of the open days Trade stand bookings
at the show are still being taken.
At the open day this year we will have on show 5 NEW MODELS
Prototypes of the new 3 new release to the range will be on showThe model building demonstrations and the tours of the workshops will be held again.
The NEW ENLARGED MODEL POND IS BEING CONSTRUCTED at the moment so modellers will be able to sail
and show models on the water.
The showroom and workshop centre will be open for the three days. There will also be demonstrations of model
making, and construction by well know modellers Action videos of our boats in action.
We have the local model boat clubs and visiting clubs from various parts of the country, plus we have clubs booked in
from Holland, Belgium, and Germany attending this year. We will have GUEST CLUB stand each day of the show, if you
would like to apply for a stand for a day please contact Deans Marine ASAP.
There will be a stand showing the models ships of the late
MILE BOND, These model will be on show for sale best
offers ALL PROCEEDS of the sale wil be to the family of the late Mike Bond.
Refreshments will be available on site, The will be a plant stall at the show. There is limited camping and caravanning in
the paddock adjacent to the workshops but space must be booked with us. priority will be given to trade and club stands.
There is no charge for entry, it is FREE and donation box will be at the entrance, All proceeds will be to local charities.
