Just got back from a full weekend at the model Boat Convention Birchwood.

We had a great time talking to old friends and new ones....met the " lads " from the scottish warship assosiation, Ginger and his mates what a great bunch of lads,  in fact everone was great, the atmosphere in and out of the show was excellent..

Some fantastic displays of models to look at and enthusiastic owners to speak to

If you didn't attend... you missed one of the best events this year.  O0

Regards. Sub.

What about the other 48 odd pictures !! I will be able to post some more at a later date as another member took most of the pictures for us , last count I think He was up to about 550  %% however I will not get those until the next meeting  and then will post up on photobox or similar as I Don't Think Martin would be to chuffed to have them all on here.

The weather despite all forecasts held out ubtil the last 30 minutes of the show.  So again a full day of sailing was available , the childrens have ago pond was extremely succesfull although I think some were training to be Lewis Hamilton. :}

"met the " lads " from the scottish warship assosiation, Ginger and his mates what a great bunch of lads, " they were that , a pleasure to know.

Think they should also have an award for the least progressed model of the year... :} it would be mine for certain.. I blame this forum..

A few more shots taken inside of one or two of the club stands.  A superb collection of models were on display both on the stands and on the water with some beautiful examples of boat modelling in all it's various forms.  Heartiest congratulations has to go to the organisers for putting on yet another stunning convention that was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
