Stevenage Model Boat club had it's AGM today. Andy and I have told them all how good the Llanberis weekend was. We Have ask if the club would like to send a few more members to support next years events both at Wicksteed park and Llanberis. We have planted the seed now all we have to do is watch and wait?
I think I will get my pass out for both next year, all be it only to display my boats at Wicksteed park.
Do you have any PR leaflets we could hand out at SMBC to jog them along?? IF no, how about having some done for the Model Engineering show in London to hand out ?
Cheers for now, Im off to glue a bit more of my Hydro plane up.

I've just found out something rather upsetting, I will be in Costa Rica over the Llanberis weekend and I get back 3 days afterwards

To make matters worse, I don't even want to go to Costa Rica in the first place...

Some unsuitable language for this forum has been said...

I think I'm going to have to persuade my parents to cancel even more so than I already did

I have a master plan Andy, right this is how it works, I will drive through Stevenage on the Thursday before, and (this is the clever bit) I will leave my caravan door unlocked, you jump in and lie low. Now what we do next is (and this is the really clever bit) send a randsom note to Mater and Pater demanding a costa rican hat in return for their beloved offspring. So they have to go to Costa Rica to get the hat (told you it was clever) by the time they have returned, you have had a great weekend, they have been to Costa Rica, their beloved has been returned none the worse for wear (except for large smile and slight welsh accent) and the hat is on E-bay.

My brother-in-law who picked up some ideas from the Gurkhas loved curried goat to the point that he could not be trusted in childrens corner in the zoo.

Why not tie him to the roof!!!!!!!!
That will save space and you won't have to listen to him whinging that he is tired and needs a rest.
