THANK YOU Stav & Phil . See you next Friday lunch time.
Been and tested my boats ready for next weekend.
Gas Springer A1 :-))
Hydro          A1  :-))
Nathens tug A1  :-))
pop pop boat A1 :-))
Makara: Engine is in the post fingers crossed It will be early part of this week.  It has been to the engine tuner to have a new piston and tune up.

I am not going to bang on about this BUT! All IC boats will need to have a working failsafe fitted (even slow ic boats). Be safe to be on the water. THEY WILL BE CHECK BY Me before you can go on the water.  FS are about £10.00 from your local hobby shop.
I idear is we have FUN. but we do need to make sure it's safe. :-))

See I go away for a few days and it al happens. Seems most questions have been answered (hooray).Yes Stav and I will be there to welcome / point people in the right direction for first thing Friday so have no fear. If you are not sure, walk the route and find us and well will help get you settled.

Now quick up date on my jolly old (and I do mean old) crash tender, further to meting the the como motor, in went a Graupner 700 bb. So there I am at Holes Bay in dorset (closer than Poole park) of goes the boat into the bay going like stink, a few runs up and down, wow is this thing fast----and then (as you would excpect with anything I touch with and electric motor) nothing, no forward, no back, no wind, no incoming tide..............
So to the owmer of a small pram dingy moored (badly) in Holes Bay I thank you (well there was no one around) and to the chap who had the old boat moored next to it, thanks for the loan of the oars (I did put them back)
Now guess who has to hang his head in shame and ask FLJ if there is anything he can do with the one not so carefull owned ESC.................
I have now fitted a P98 ESC, so Wales here we come

Too many LED's fitted to your boat, poor minibus couldn't stand the strain.

Maybe a few tie wraps will help.  :-)) :-))

Ghost. Tesco had a deal on Fosters at the weekend. Did you get some in?
When we have emptied the tins we could prop up your van with the tins. Recycling is all the rage.

I`m going to make this my first ever visit to a model boat event. Is there an entrance fee or anything? I`ll bring the wife and kids but you`ll have to wait a couple of years if you want me to bring my model steamer with me.

Nope, turn up and park.
(Not sure if there is a ticket fee in the main car park... best check on the day)

If you are using the main carpark there is a ticket fee to pay  think it is 2-3 pounds all day , However Stavros may have made arrangements with the warden.  You will have time to go and check , they are not waiting to jump on you as soon as you park.

Hi Shamrock
I live in your hometown and if you'd like to send me a PM I can tell you all about our model boat sailing club, that is, if you don't know already of course.
