Introducing myself with a question
« on: August 14, 2008, 04:09:42 pm »

Hello all,

I'm Fraser. I live in Scotland, UK and am returning to the model boat hobby after several years away. I've bought myself another HotShot 3.5 kit, which was my first kit model many years back.

I have a question relating to it for you. I bought an engine cowl for my original boat, which fixed around the outboard and gave the engine the look of a real Mercury racing outboard engine. Try as I might though, I can't track this product down any longer. From what I remember it was moulded from ABS plastic or similar and came in two halves. Does anyone know where I might find one or something similar?

Many thanks, Fraser.

I think the manufacturer was T M Products (aka AMPS) of Chateris, Cambs.
I don't think the company is around any more but they did some stuff to a company in the States
but I can find no record of them now. Did find this....
