Will try to start where last left off.
The shafts etc have been installed along with the motors.

As I have now relocated to new house I had better update my workshop photos.
Now have the garage to my self. 4.5m x 7m.
Lined and insulated. Carpet on floor. Good lighting and internet access with Smart TV to watch documentaries while building.
Two photos of workshop and the other is my 1/72 and 1/144 plastic model collection to one day get around o building.

Hi kiwi96,

I have seen/appreciated with envy your pics of the above deeply from the bottom of my heart.!! O0 :-)) {-)
WHAT a fabulous work shop you have had this time which is large enough even to build such a large 1/96 battleship. O0 ok2
You could build whatever models you want to do in this shop with many equipments/tools under the superb circumstances...
Please have a nice and enjoyable time sufficiently to build the large BB. :-))
This "room" could be possibly your second living room or a paradise in this world, isn't it.??!!! {-)
However, refrain from spending there all day long for building the models so as to get your wife mad which I have frequently done so far and still now on. O0 {-) %% :D

Very nice to see her resurface. I've always liked this class and think they are great looking ships. I have the same plans as you - came from Paris maritime museum decades ago and are wonderfully detailed. They came with a set of model pictures as well.

Love the workshop and like others we look forward to further updates. Have a look at the Iron Duke thread on the warship section of you want working guns!

Cheers

Thanks for kind words on build and workshop.
Have received some 40mm gun tubs and pieces for their directors from a fellow modeler who printed hem out for me.

I know how you feel with your new workshop. I moved 5 times in 2 years and didn't have a decent space until the final move. Your new one is definitely a step up from mine. Looks a lot warmer too.

Sorry for being late to the party!

Firstly, this looks a top work space, plenty of wiggle room and capacity for more hulls  :}

Secondly, I also think the class as interesting for the layout as much as anything. I look forward to seeing your progress.

Lastly.... What is the even larger hull on the shelf? Looks like a big old Battleship.

Hi.
The large top hull is the Missouri and the lower hull on bottom shelf is the Hood. Both in 1/96.
