Hello mayhemers, just back from Hop farm show. What a great show everything was there,planes,tanks,boats....etc...
Would like to thank the boys from cygnets boat club on a well organised weekend much fun was had by me & my mates Del & Paul.
Does anyone out there have any funny tales they would like to share re;hop farm show ?
My mate Paul had to wait for the boat pool to be emptied by the tanker before he could retrieve his Graupner shark sub, despite everyone trying to persuade him to dive in.Why do people love others misfortunes?..Sub was fished out eventually happy days....!!

the show was excellent, i agree, it has something for everyone, model cars, tanks, planes, helicopters, trains, and then the full size kit cars, the daleks, the full size flying displays, , then the hop farm iteself and it it has to offer,

add to that the option to camp, have a few beers, the evening sing along and a good old chin wag with fdellow modellers...... what more could you ask for ???

i took some photos but i have not yet downloaded them off the camera........ but there must be plenty more mayhemmers who went there with images .....

What no photos, it's time we bring back the ancient and honorable tradition of keel hauling. ;)
