Tethered Electric Hydroplane

Although we run tethered hydroplanes with anything from a 6 1/2 cc right up to 30cc glow, 2 stroke and flash steam, electric has now come along. Last Sunday a fellow member of my club got 53 MPH out of his new and upto the first run, untried Hydro. Makes we wonder how long before the magic 100 mph is reached.
Technology has certainly come along and helped these boys (brushless motor, lipo batteries etc)
