Hi all  :-))
I quickie

What best for removing contact adhesive from wood?

Glued rubber bands to wood using this glue now have to change the lot to thiner bands and left with glue thats taking me ages to remove.   {:-{

Assuming you mean Evostick or similar smelly type of contact adhesive.
 Its neoprene rubber in a very light solvent which can always be re-dissolved in a light solvent - try celulose thinners, acetone, lighter fuel  or similar - this should remove it, but try and get rid on the bulk first so there is less to dissolve

Solvents will work but don't smoke at the same time %% or use naked flames

Cheers m8s for the info.  :-))

Must have put too much on, its a really thick mess. 

Will use the cellulose on it tomorrow and will use Super Glue instead.
