Motor Mounts
« on: November 12, 2025, 07:33:03 pm »

Hi There

Looking for three engine mounts to go in a model MTB (1/32) using Overlander T3536T/06 Brushless engines - what would you recommend please. Also can you recommend a UK based supplier that has stock in and can offer next day delivers - fed up wth being pointed to China and having to wait weeks for delivery

Many thanks

I have found these work just fine.  You might have to instal the mount "backwards" to get the motor pointing in the right direction, but I'm sure you can figure that out.

These mounts are quite flexible, for bigger motors I'd put a bulkhead across the boat and mount to that, either angle the bulkhead to be 90 Deg to the shafts or use double cardens, I did the latter.

Me too, a bulkhead mounting is a really good way to mount a motor(s) as long as the shaft are correctly lined up together.
