fire boat help !!!!!!

can anybody help I am going to be building a fireboat like the old aerokits versions,but from a kingston mouldings hull. going to be the 46" hull.unlike the old aerokits single screw this will be a twin screw as per the prototype. now I have 2x mfa 850 motors spare does anybody think this is a good choice to power the model ????  any thoughts would be most welcome

I have an 850 fitted in my Sea Queen, which is 46" long. It performs very well getting up on the plane with ease. So two should be most satisfactory.  :-))

should be OK but build it as light as you can and use nicads, there are some on  http://modelfireboats.com/  that may help you, and there are some posts on this site if you search under fire boat.

You can run on gel cell or nimh ok

You can use 4 bladed scale props ok

MFA 850 are power hungry and weigh 500g each
this brushless set up will give you a lot more power, aong running time
