Hello all Im buying a Happy hunter soon, its a 1:50, Ive been looking at getting some bits to add onto it, they are 1:48 would there be alot of difference, also the crane which model slipway have is 1:32 would that be to off scale to fit it,

1:50 versus 1:48 won't make much difference for fittings. the difference would be a little over a millimetre in an inch (or .04 of an inch to stick with imperial). However, 1:32 is 50% bigger that 1:48 (1.56 bigger than 1:50) so you would notice the difference I think. However, the trick is to see if it looks OK to you, if it does then go for it.

When it comes to thing like cranes, within limits, its the size rather than the scale that matters.  Its the people-related bits that can give the game away, like doors too small to get through, railings above head height, control panels where the operator would have to jump up and down to work things and steps that would need crampons and a squad of Sherpas.  Best bet is to carry a figure of your chosen scale with you, and compare it to the intended fitting if you get the opportunity.
