Help - Can anyone identify this tug
« on: November 20, 2008, 08:03:52 am »

Hi one and all, I have just been renovating the steam tug shown in the pictures attached. The name on the hull was BREEM. It is a plank on hull that has been fibreglass lined. The superstructure is made from tin, with most of the deck fittings in brass. Originally (don't know how long ago) it did have a steam plant but now it has an electric motor. Any suggestions as to the origins of this ship. The model is 37 inches in length, 11 inches wide, has a draught of 3.5 inches and is 13 inches from the waterline to the top of the funnel.

Regards
Andy
