Fan assisted steam

OK Heres the question

Can you obtain a small electric fan to fit close to the smoke generator in a boat to run off a 12vla system that would assist in the flow of "steam"from the point of generation to the 3 funnels on a manxman.

whilst the current installation produces a nice "show" i feel that a bit of help in air flow would greatly enhance the effect.

Space is at a premium but I would like to see how and if it could be improved with ....perhaps a cooling fan of some sort maybee

I have an excellent electrical system layout supplied in total by a a geezer in a leather jacket , but would like to hone the system I have installed.

Not trying to build in a wind tunnel ...just some gentle assistance would suffice {:-{

Hi there

I use a 40 mm fan from Maplins on 12 volt but the fan leads are connected to the motor terminals so that the fan speed is proportional to the motor speed within reason
these fans only work in one direction but they are marked on the top as to direction and force
hope this helps

We're currently working on a new PIC chip for our little P52 ESC which will drive the fan motor in proportion to the main drive motor speed, irrespective of whether you've selected Forward or Reverse Throttle. At present - as Mickymike says - the fan motor will only run in Forward Throttle mode.
More soon.
