still wouldn;t risk it with nord icelandia though.  one of the plastic hulls, yes.  even RAMMED ice with Yamato :D

This is what I call exceptional sailing conditions . Phil Scales better known to many at producing   truly fine and authentically weathered models sailed this Flower class corvette on lake Windermere just to prove a point. Even  though this model has won many awards it is  sailed to the limit.

Scale North Atlantic weather! :o Really impressive, I definitely wouldn't have the courage risk one of my own models in water like this - I'm afraid I'm definitely a "fair weather sailor", I'm happy with running at scale speeds in calm water.
