Ramon
I know I shouldn't be doing this but -
if you look on the omra-uk(dot)org website in Sales and Wants, there is an ideal radio going at a ridiculous price.
Be quick!!

Hi Danny
So let me get this right. to improve your radio reception you need to set out to sea. at a convenient point drop your transmiter over the side for a swim, Then take it home then jump in the shower with your radio using the shower gel you got for Christmas wash the radio out. Then a trip to the local car wash to use the blowers to dry it out.
And I thought it was only me that pored Weymouth sea water over his transmitter which stopped my race. I did wash mine out. It was never the same so off it went to knee hay. Bingo no more interference.
My Futaba 2.4Ghz is live and well. I'm not going to try it out IN the sea just yet
Cheers

Bill - it wouldn't work with a 2.4 set!!
The only reason I didn't lose it altogether was that, as it hit the water, the weight of the batteries upended it allowing me to grab the 3 ft aerial %)
With your stubby little thing (the aerial that is) you'd have to make sure you had a good hold and just dip it GENTLY into the sea until it was fully submerged  :o %%

At least ours was accidental - I've seen a frustrated multi racer THROW his tranny into the lake when his boat was smashed up!
Hmm...  now why did I pack up multi again ....  %)

Good point Andy.
Hang on that was only a clapped out £30 RTR useless bit of junk.
That dose not really count.  It would have been OK IF we had of made it a fireboat.
