Some years ago, a female member of the wifes family went in to one of the guy's workshops and cleaned...

Virtually the whole family berrated her for her actions...

The guy's cant find stuff that they knew they had even to this day..

I've always believed in the expression "a clean desk is the sign of an empty mind". Same goes for workshops..... :P

Once you've put everything away it's difficult to find it again. If your better half has "tidied up" then that's the last you'll ever see of it.

Oh no !!!!! it seems I'm the odd one out (well we all knew that anyway) but my workshop is always clean and tidy, I use a tool and put it back, I know where it is for next time. In fact the workshop gets swept more than the house (a certain female member of the house not to over impressed)
Oh for a workshop cleaner (yeah like thats ever going to happen.   ok2

In the words of Walter Gabriel  "Ohh deor ohh deor ohh deor"
I will join with many others and wish you a speedy recovery, or at least a partial cure.

Wonderful! But how about us suckers that used to go to sea for months on end? I used to spend half my leave period trying to remember where things were, and the second half putting it all back together again. And wondering where all the gardening gear had come from. BY.

I tidy up frequently though  an untrained eye or someone who hadn't seen it before clean up  would be wondering what freak weather conditions create an indoor tornado.
When I see some workshop pictures I can't understand where the owners put all their STUFF.

Phil I am with you.

I put things away and tidy my shed regularly, I even have a hoover out there to do the job. It does not mean I can find things when I have put them away, they are just not in the way any more  :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))
